Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an onsite Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to guide caregivers in learning and self-development. The hybrid role involves 3-4 days on site per week and travel to support multiple locations.

The NPD Practitioner will mentor staff, lead interprofessional learning, and champion evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes. RN with BSN and NPD-style credentials are preferred; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution; RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Experience in adult or staff development; nursing background required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate caregiver orientation and ongoing learning using standardized tools.
• Collaborate across teams to identify learning needs and drive evidence-based practices.
• Provide coaching to preceptors and clinical staff for growth and performance.
• Lead interprofessional learning and nursing education initiatives.
• Support transitions to new practices and ensure effective adoption.
