Job summary

Piedmont Medical Network - Fort Mill Hospital seeks an experienced healthcare leader to support the CNO in directing nursing and patient care across units. The role emphasizes safe, high-quality, patient-centered care and 24/7 accountability for department performance.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in nursing (with BSN preferred) and a BSN or higher, plus RN licensure and 2+ years managing hospital nursing teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree from accredited nursing school with a bachelor degree in a health care related field or a BSN.
• Experience: Two (2) years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full time charge nurse/related position
• Preferred: MSN or Master’s in a health care related field.
• Licensure/Certification: RN License

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in overseeing nursing and patient care services.
• Assist in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice across multiple units.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care throughout assigned areas.
• Maintain accountability for 24/7 oversight and performance of assigned departments.
• Promote clinical staff competency and effective resource management to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Performs related duties as required.
