Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Fresno, CA seeks an experienced Nursing Services Administrator to oversee 24-hour nursing operations, ensure quality care per physician orders and regulatory standards, and assume center operations in the administrator's absence.

The role conducts the nursing process, provides staff guidance, participates in admissions decisions, and leads management team discussions on resident status and concerns.

Qualifications

• RN license in state
• Associate or Bachelor Degree from accredited nursing school
• Five years in long-term or acute health care; at least 2 years nursing supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Assumes ultimate responsibility for coordinating total resident care plans satisfying physician orders, regulations, and facility policies.
• Communicates and interprets policies to nursing staff and monitors practices.
• Participates in admissions decisions and may visit prospective residents.
• Participates in daily/weekly management meetings to discuss resident status, census, personnel, or concerns.
• Other duties may be assigned with or without notice.
