The role requires RN licensure in Wisconsin, a BSN is preferred, and prior supervisory experience; you will ensure regulatory compliance, develop clinical practices, and mentor staff while upholding our commitment to compassionate elder care.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree from an accreditedSchool of Nursing and current Wisconsin RN licensure.
• One to two years of supervisory experience.
• Deep knowledge of nursing techniques and their relation to medical and surgical practices.
• Strong understanding of modern principles of nursing home administration.
• Sound judgment and commitment to elder care.

Responsibilities

• Manages the nursing department and oversees quality, service, and safety of resident care.
• Develops and implements facility practices to ensure regulatory compliance and updated clinical guidelines.
• Assigns, directs, and reviews staff; completes performance appraisals for nursing management.
• Investigates and reports employee licensing issues to the Wisconsin Board of Nursing.
• Serves as liaison and educator between the facility and the community; communicates at all levels of nursing.
• Promotes effective communication with staff, residents, families, and other health care professionals.
• Develops and maintains policies to ensure compliance with state and federal long-term care regulations.
