Job summary

The Director of Nursing (DON) at NTACHC leads nursing services to ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across sites. You will supervise nursing staff, oversee education, audits, and care coordination in collaboration with the CMO and Senior Management.

You will develop policies, manage performance evaluations, and maintain NCQA PCMH readiness, HIPAA compliance, and inventory controls, while guiding teams to deliver patient-centered care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years supervisory experience.
• Current Texas license.
• BSN preferred.
• CPR/ACLS/BCLS certification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Develop nursing service objectives, policies and procedures to maintain quality nursing care.
• Determine staffing levels and monitor adequacy for nursing care.
• Oversee administrative functions in Nursing Department.
• Promote staff development through in-service education programs.
• Monitor quality of care across nursing units and infection control.
• Coordinate policy development and management with CMO and leadership.
