Job summary

Healthcare Partners in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to plan, organize, and direct all nursing operations, ensuring high clinical quality and regulatory compliance across the resident care program.

The DON will lead nursing services, supervise staff, maintain survey readiness, and drive nursing excellence while fostering accountability, safety, and a resident-centered culture.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong regulatory, operational, and people-management skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all nursing operations as the Director of Nursing (DON).
• Plan, organize, and evaluate nursing services, programs, and activities in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing policies and procedures.
• Oversee clinical quality, infection control, and survey readiness.
• Provide written and verbal reports to the Administrator regarding nursing department activities.
• Coordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and resident-centered care.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information in accordance with HIPAA.
