Job summary

Nemours Foundation in Jacksonville seeks a dynamic Director of Nursing for Outpatient Pediatric Care to provide strategic and operational leadership ensuring safe, evidence-based, family-centered care across our outpatient services.

The role focuses on mentoring nursing teams, overseeing hiring and credentialing, advancing shared governance, and partnering with senior clinical leaders on planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to elevate pediatric care.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (required); PhD or DNP (preferred)
  • Registered Nurse Licensure within the State of Florida
  • 5+ years of outpatient pediatric nursing experience
  • 3–5 years of managerial or leadership experience in an outpatient setting
  • American Heart Association BLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire nursing teams, ensuring excellence in care, quality outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
