Job summary

Indiana Treatment Centers, in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services (ARS), is opening a new substance use disorder treatment facility in Muncie, Indiana in Spring 2026. We are seeking a Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations and build a patient-centered nursing team from the ground up.

Lead nursing leadership across shifts, ensure regulatory compliance, staffing, workflows, and quality initiatives. Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team during launch and growth.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license required.
• Minimum 2–5 years of nursing experience in behavioral health or SUD treatment.
• Prior nursing leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration and infection control.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all nursing operations across shifts.
• Establish nursing workflows aligned with clinical, medical, and operational standards.
• Serve as the primary nursing leader and escalation point for patient care concerns.
• Oversee medication management, MAR creation, reconciliation, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and quality initiatives.
