Job summary

Indiana Treatment Centers, in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services, seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Muncie team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on evidence-based care for individuals recovering from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Indiana Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• Current DEA registration with authority to prescribe controlled substances.
• National board certification as a Family NP (FNP), AGNP, or PMHNP as applicable.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical evaluations, histories, and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Prescribe, monitor, and manage medications, including MAT and withdrawal management within scope.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and case managers.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions.
• Review laboratory results and consult reports.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EHR.
