Job summary

Hill Valley Healthcare in Nashville, TN is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations and drive quality of care across the facility. The DON will oversee nursing services, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor clinical leadership to deliver exceptional resident outcomes.

This role requires an active RN license, prior DON/ADON experience in a skilled nursing setting, and strong knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing is required.
• Previous experience as a DON or ADON in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all nursing services within the facility.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead QAPI initiatives and drive quality improvement outcomes.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and labor management.
• Mentor, coach, and develop nursing leadership and staff.
• Monitor clinical documentation and care plan implementation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal resident care.
• Support survey readiness and maintain survey compliance.
