Job summary
Sunrise Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Virden, IL is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing team. The role offers a competitive salary of $110,000–$140,000 annually, plus a $12,500 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
The DON will oversee daily operations, mentor RNs/LPNs/CNAs, ensure regulatory compliance, manage care plans, and drive quality improvement. Illinois RN licensure and SNF/LTC experience are preferred.
Qualifications
- Requires licensure as an Illinois RN and leadership experience in a nursing setting.
- Ability to oversee nursing operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Proven skills in team mentoring and quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and clinical care.
- Lead, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Oversee resident care plans, assessments, and documentation.
- Support staff training, quality improvement, and survey readiness.
- Collaborate with facility leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
