Nivram-Management is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team at a family-owned skilled nursing facility in Illinois. This leadership role oversees clinical operations, supports staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and fosters a resident-centered culture focused on quality care.

Qualifications

• RN license required and active licensure in good standing.
• Nursing leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily clinical operations of the nursing department.
• Supervising and supporting nursing leadership and nursing staff.
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Promoting quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes.
• Collaborating with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to improve resident services.
• Monitoring clinical documentation, care planning, and regulatory compliance.
• Supporting recruitment, orientation, education, and retention of nursing staff.
• Maintaining survey readiness and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Addressing clinical concerns and implementing corrective action plans when appropriate.
