Holiday Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Director of Nursing to provide clinical leadership and oversight, ensuring person-centered care that honors resident dignity and well-being. This role is supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services and requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a focus on quality care.

The Director will lead staffing, oversee policies, mentor staff, and drive QA/QI initiatives while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations in

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Rhode Island.
• Nursing degree from an accredited institution preferred.
• Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience in hospital or long-term care.
• Experience in supervision and staff development.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices and regulations in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement staffing plans to ensure safe resident care.
• Conduct rounds to monitor and improve nursing care quality.
• Foster collaboration with residents, families, staff, and the medical team.
• Partner with Administrator to align care with organizational goals.
• Oversee policies and procedures per regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Oversee QA/QI initiatives for nursing services.
• Ensure compliance with laws and standards governing long-term care.
