Job summary

Cedarhurst of Crown Point is seeking a Director of Nursing to provide strategic leadership and day-to-day clinical management across the community. You will oversee nurses, CNAs, and medication staff, ensure safe, high-quality resident care, and drive regulatory readiness and service plan development.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with an active state license as RN or LPN.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing leadership/management experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations and nursing staff to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and implement nursing service objectives, policies and procedures in line with regulations.
• Coordinate with surveyors and lead preparation for regulatory surveys (IDPH exposure).
• Ensure medication management, including eMAR accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain infection control protocols and oversee staff trainings and schedules.
