Regent Surgical Health seeks a Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations at the Anchorage center. You will implement nursing philosophy, goals, policies and procedures, and influence patient care quality in collaboration with administrators.

The role includes budgeting, staffing, policy development, regulatory compliance, and cross‑department liaison to ensure efficient operations and safe patient care. Requires RN licensure and leadership experience.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in appropriate state.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience.
• Minimum two years people leadership experience.

• Demonstrate the ability to communicate the center’s mission, vision and values, as well as center goals, to all staff; inspire and motivate staff to achieve goals.
• Provide supervision, leadership, and guidance to other leaders and staff in goal setting, problem solving, resource management, outcome achievement, and promotion of team cohesion.
• Oversee the hiring, training, evaluation, and discipline of clinical staff, ensuring they are adequately staffed and competent.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing policies and procedures to improve patient care and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and effective nursing care by setting standards, providing guidance, and evaluating performance.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and ensure the Center adheres to all relevant standards.
• Act as a liaison between nursing staff, medical staff, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
• Implement quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Responsible for developing and managing the clinical department’s budget, allocating resources effectively, and tracking expenses.
• Evaluate performance objectives and metrics for the center and assess the level of competence of staff in a timely manner.
