Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking a Senior Director of Nursing, Surgical Services to provide executive leadership for perioperative and SPD operations. The role requires coordinating with surgeons, anesthesia, and operative services to optimize access, safety, and efficiency within a mission-driven health system.

The position emphasizes strategic planning, staff development, budgeting, and adherence to regulatory and quality standards across the surgical continuum.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience leading complex hospital operations and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with staffing, budget oversight, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership and organizational development capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or MBA required within three years.

Responsabilidades

• Provides executive leadership for surgical services and SPD services, ensuring safe, efficient, high‑quality care delivery across perioperative departments.
• Assists the ACNO/CNO in strategic planning, resource allocation, policy development, and operational decision‑making.
• Participates in emergency management, incident command, surge response, and business continuity planning.
• Supports academic partnerships, clinical education, professional development, and nursing research to strengthen recruitment and practice.
• Fosters a just culture and psychologically safe work environment with open reporting of risks and improvement opportunities.
• Promotes professional practice grounded in shared governance and evidence-based standards.
