Job summary

The incumbent will manage budget, partner with OR Medical Director, and champion governance, quality improvement, and workforce development in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Alaska RN license required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and clinical leadership for Surgical Services to ensure safety, effectiveness, and patient-centered care.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget and align with strategic goals.
• Partner with physicians and leadership to design and expand Surgical Services across the care continuum.
• Lead quality, safety, and Magnet culture initiatives and drive evidence-based practice.
• Develop leadership talent, succession planning, and staff engagement across nursing and support services.
• Oversee governance, collaboration with stakeholders, and presentation at relevant committees.
