Beth Israel Lahey Health Milton Hospital is seeking a Director of Surgical Services to provide 24/7 leadership for OR, PACU, Endoscopy, CSP, and scheduling. You will partner with surgeons, nursing leaders, and executives to drive quality, growth, and efficiency in perioperative care.

The role requires an RN with a Bachelor’s in Nursing and a Master’s in Nursing or related field, with at least 5 years as a Nurse Manager in Surgical Services and 3 years in clinical Surgical Services care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field is required.
• Massachusetts RN license is required.
• Minimum 5 years as a Nurse Manager in Surgical Services.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in Surgical Services; OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Nurse Managers (OR, PACU, Endoscopy) and the Surgical Services Educator.
• Oversee Central Sterile Processing leadership and scheduling.
• Drive budgeting, contracts, and equipment acquisition.
• Lead process improvement and strategic planning initiatives.
• Use data analytics to optimize performance and throughput.
