Aston Group in Largo, FL is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team in delivering high-quality resident care. The DON will oversee clinical operations, mentor staff, manage budgets, ensure licensure, and drive patient outcomes within regulatory standards.

This role requires RN licensure, a Bachelor’s degree, and at least two years of leadership in a skilled facility. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, on-call availability, and willingness to work nights,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
• Current RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Participation in the on-call schedule is required.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Strong knowledge of nursing regulations, compliance, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing budgets and departmental operations.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and healthcare technology.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee all nursing care operations within the facility.
• Develop, implement, and uphold nursing policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor, coach, and support the nursing team through regular feedback and performance evaluations.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive work culture.
• Ensure nursing staff maintain required licensure and certifications.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance resident care and operational outcomes.
• Analyze patient care data to guide quality improvement efforts.
• Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Work with facility leadership to achieve clinical and organizational goals.
• Ensure residents consistently receive compassionate, high-quality nursing care.
