Qualifications

• RN license in the state where the facility is located.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an approved program.
• Must maintain license on file at the facility.
• Two years of direct work experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience in clinical settings and correctional care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and evaluates nursing and clerical staff.
• Maintains staff scheduling and ensures adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Ensures compliance with facility policies, procedures, and laws.
• Organizes staff training, in-services, and CEUs as required.
• Maintains licensure for staff and coordinates with management on staffing needs.
• Monitors and improves quality of care and documentation.
