Job summary

Candidates must hold an Ohio nursing license, have at least one year of supervisor experience in healthcare, and be proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and EMR software. Shift flexibility, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college, university or vocational school.
• Current unencumbered license for the state of Ohio to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
• One year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long term care facility, or other related health care facility required.
• One year experience working as a nurse in a hospital, long term care facility, or other related health care facility required.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the internet required.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Confirms staffing at the beginning of the shift and supports admissions nurses as needed.
• Coordinates resident care with departments and acts as a point of contact for families.
• Maintains compliance, audits processes, and supports quality, risk, and survey readiness.
• Supervises a nursing area, develops staff, and promotes high performance.
