Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Service Department in a skilled nursing facility, ensuring quality of care and compliance with standards.

The DON will work with the Administrator and Medical Director, supervise staff, participate in program development, and mentor staff through DON mentorship programs; includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license in NC is required.
• CPR or BLS certification is required.
• Experience supervising nursing staff in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Nursing Service Department to meet federal, state, and local standards and ensure quality of care.
• Collaborate with Administrator and Medical Director to maintain high standards of practice and infection control.
• Mentor nursing staff and participate in DON mentorship programs to prepare for future leadership.
