Professional Home Care seeks a Director of Nursing to lead all nursing operations in our DC-area home care agency. The DON ensures quality care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and the development of policies and procedures aligned with the agency’s mission.

This role requires RN licensure in DC or Maryland, a Bachelor’s degree, 5 years nursing experience with 2 years in supervision, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; RN licensure in DC or Maryland.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience with 2 years in supervisory roles.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of individualized care plans and case management for clients.
• Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff (RNs and CNAs) and provide ongoing coaching.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; monitor infection control and risk.
• Lead policy development, strategic planning, and coordinate care with families and other providers.
