Job summary

Compass Surgical Partners seeks an experienced clinical leader to serve as Director of Nursing at St. Francis Ambulatory Surgery Center in Midlothian, VA. You will oversee all nursing services and clinical operations to deliver safe, high-quality outpatient care.

This full-time, Mon-Fri role collaborates with the center CEO, physicians, and Compass leadership to build a culture of clinical excellence and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2+ years of nursing leadership, preferably in outpatient surgery.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage nursing and clinical teams.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and infection control.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and supply management.
• Collaborate with physicians and administration to support center goals.
• Serve as administrative leader in the Administrator’s absence.
