Job summary

Compass Surgical Partners seeks an experienced Director of Nursing to lead the clinical team at St. Francis Ambulatory Surgery Center in Midlothian, Virginia.

As the senior clinical leader, you will establish clinical standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide operations from launch through growth. Reporting to the center CEO and collaborating with physician partners, you will build a culture of clinical excellence, oversee staffing and patient care across two ORs and one procedure room,

Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 2+ years of nursing leadership, preferably in outpatient surgery.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage nursing and clinical teams.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and infection control.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and supply management.
• Collaborate with physicians and administration to support center goals.
• Serve as administrative leader in the Administrator’s absence.
