Job summary

Silver Health Care Center in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, seeks a Director of Nursing to lead the nursing team and oversee daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring patient care excellence and compliance with regulatory standards.

You will develop and implement policies, mentor staff, manage the department budget, and coordinate with the Medical Director and physicians to improve care quality across the campus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, preferably as a DON.
• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Gerontology certification or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of policies and procedures for the nursing department.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care and coordination with other departments.
• Foster effective communication among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
