Silver Health Care Center in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, seeks a Director of Nursing to lead the nursing team and oversee daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring patient care excellence and compliance with regulatory standards.

You will develop and implement policies, mentor staff, manage the department budget, and coordinate with the Medical Director and physicians to improve care quality across the campus.

Formación

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, preferably as a DON.
• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Gerontology certification or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.

Director of Nursing DON

Job Summary:

As a Director of Nursing DON, you will play a pivotal role in leading the nursing team at Silver Health Care Center, a dynamic nursing facility in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. With our focus on providing exceptional patient care, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the nursing department
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, promoting continuity of care and coordination with other departments
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accreditation standards
• Develop and manage the nursing department's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources
• Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional development and growth
• Collaborate with the Medical Director to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably as a DON
• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey
• Certification in Gerontology or related field
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
