Job summary

Mission Trail Baptist Hospital is seeking a Director to plan, organize, and direct resources for one to two departments around the clock. The role includes budget responsibility, staff management, quality outcomes, and performance improvement.

It requires nursing leadership and coordination with system departments. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Nursing, 5 years of management experience, Texas RN licensure, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; master's preferred in Nursing, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in discipline or specialty with progressive management.
• Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse is required.
• Active BLS certification within 60 days of hire; healthcare provider level.
• Leadership experience in clinical departments and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of assigned department(s) and manage staff performance.
• Develop and manage annual department operating and capital budgets.
• Establish goals aligned with facility strategic plans.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality outcomes across units.
• Coordinate resources, recruitment, and staff development initiatives.
• Communicate with medical staff to promote timely patient outcomes.
