Job summary

The Ashton at Mayfield Heights, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our on-site nursing team in Cleveland, OH. This full-time position provides resident care across independent living, assisted living, and memory care settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nutritional needs: setting tables, serving meals, ensuring proper fluids, substitutions when needed.
• Remind residents to take medications and assist with opening containers.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities include:

• Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care. Duties include assisting with dressing, grooming, bathing, and escorts and transfers
• Assists residents with nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing proper fluid requirements, and offering substitutions when appropriate
• Reminding residents to take medication and opening containers and packages for residents
• Recognizes changes in the residents' behavior and conditions and reports those changes to the Assisted Living Director

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
