Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus in New Jersey seeks a Clinical Practice Specialist to provide expert nursing care, guidance to patients, families and staff, and leadership across the Valley Health System to improve outcomes.

In a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, the role advances evidence-based practice, supports staff development, and drives consultative collaboration with physicians and other providers to ensure continuity of care and measurable patient-centered results.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing (required).
• Current RN licensure in New Jersey (required).
• Magnet-recognized national certification required.
• 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in specialty area with pediatrics/PICU experience.
• Experience with adult education principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes professional and clinical nursing expertise to ensure high-quality care.
• Guide and coach patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide consultation and collaboration across disciplines.
• Lead and influence clinical and professional nursing activities within the health system.
• Set measurable goals and develop optimal treatment plans for patients and families.
