Job summary

Orbis Education seeks a Clinical/Lab Faculty member to implement nursing programs in the lab and simulation settings on an extended campus. You will teach in clinical or lab courses and support teaching, research, and service missions.

The role reports to the Director of Nursing Services and involves collaboration with an academic partner and hospital staff to ensure student success and program fidelity.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required.
• Two years of professional nursing practice.
• Two years teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with simulation mannequins is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective student learning in the clinical/lab setting and via the online learning environment.
• Provide guidance for students in the clinical/lab setting related to professionalism, practice, and research.
• Collaborate with the Healthcare Partner staff and support clinical adjunct faculty when needed.
• Maintain and teach nursing knowledge; stay current with extended campus curriculum, policies, and requirements.
• Maintain clinical competence and knowledge in area of expertise.
