Job summary
Orbis Education in partnership with Averett University Accelerated BSN Program seeks a Clinical/Lab Faculty to implement academic programs in lab and simulation settings. Instructors teach in clinical or lab courses and contribute to teaching, research, and service missions.
Reports to the Director, Nursing Services. You will facilitate learning in clinical/lab and online environments, guide students on professionalism and practice, collaborate with the Healthcare Partner, maintain nursing
Qualifications
- Two years of professional nursing practice.
- Two years of teaching experience (preferred).
- Master's degree in nursing is required.
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with colleagues, students, and adjunct faculty.
- Experience with simulation environments using mannequins is a plus.
- Comfort with AV equipment and digital learning tools.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate student learning in clinical/lab settings and online.
- Provide guidance on professionalism, practice, and research.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Partner staff and support adjunct faculty.
- Maintain and teach current nursing knowledge.
- Stay current with extended campus curriculum, policies, and requirements.
- Maintain clinical competence in their area of expertise.
