Qualifications

• Unencumbered Florida or Compact State RN License required.
• Minimum 4 years clinical experience as an RN required.
• Minimum of an ASN from an accredited school; BSN preferred.
• Experience in clinical instruction, preceptorship, or nursing education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing students in clinical settings.
• Demonstrate and teach best practices in nursing care.
• Ensure student compliance with clinical site policies and procedures.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback and document student performance.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with academic leadership to deliver clinical objectives aligned with course outcomes.
• Integrate evidence-based practices and current nursing standards into instruction.
• Participate in the development and evaluation of clinical curriculum as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between ICHS, clinical site staff, and students.
• Attend faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
• Complete accurate documentation of student attendance, progress, and evaluations.
