Highland Community College in Atchison, KS is seeking a part-time Clinical Instructor to introduce nursing students to the responsibilities, knowledge, and skills for safe practice and licensure readiness. Clinical sites include Atchison, Hiawatha, Holton, Topeka and St.

Joseph. Responsibilities include teaching clinical skills, providing a professional role model, evaluating progress, maintaining records, and coordinating with sites.

Qualifications

• Master of Science is preferred for RN students or BSN with degree plan.
• Bachelor of Science is preferred for LPN students or ADN with degree plan.
• Current Kansas RN license required.
• Knowledge of clinical procedures and documentation required.

Responsabilités

• Teach clinical skills effectively using current sources.
• Provide students with a professional role model.
• Contribute to clinical course evaluations and revisions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student clinical performance.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with clinical sites.
• Maintain nursing credentials in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
