Qualifications

• Current unencumbered RN license in Michigan.
• BSN degree from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students in nursing courses in lab and/or clinical settings.
• Teach to departmental syllabus and course/clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with program administrators, faculty, and clinical site educators to align clinical education and didactic education.
• Supervise students in the clinical setting.
• Advise, mentor, and remediate students in need.
• Submit student grades and class records according to policies and deadlines.
• Provide orientation and ongoing support to Clinical Adjunct Instructors through mentoring and collaboration.
• Maintain program accreditation and State Board approval.
