Job summary

Chamberlain College of Nursing, LLC is seeking a Visiting Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate nursing courses in Louisiana. Courses meet once or twice a week for eight weeks, with a blend of face-to-face and online components.

Commitment is on a course-by-course basis, with compensation per earned credit hour. Ideal candidates hold an MSN and DNP or a PhD in nursing, valid Louisiana RN and APRN licenses, and PMHNP certification.

Qualifications

2 years teaching experience, preferably at graduate level; online teaching experience highly preferred.
Minimum 2 years nursing practice in a clinical setting.
Must have required subject matter expertise in the course of instruction.
Faculty must demonstrate excellent communication, motivation and instructional skills in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

Candidates from Louisiana needed to conduct site visits across the region, typically 1–2 hours per site.

Identify opportunities to enhance student engagement and respond quickly to requests.
