Job summary

Chamberlain University invites experienced nursing professionals to join as visiting professors to enrich undergraduate and graduate programs. Courses meet once or twice weekly for eight weeks, blending face-to-face instruction with online discussions and assignments.

Ideal candidates hold MSN/DNP/PhD in nursing with an active LA RN and APRN license, plus national certification. Teaching across diverse settings, you will share clinical insights and trends while supporting student engagement.

Qualifications

• MSN and DNP or PhD in nursing required.
• Active Louisiana RN license required.
• Active Louisiana APRN license required.
• National certification through AANP or ANCC required for AGPC.
• At least 2 years teaching experience; online teaching experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing practice in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits across Louisiana region; 1–2 hours per site.
• Demonstrate Chamberlain Care by displaying care, respect and professionalism.
• Meet the needs of a diverse student body.
• Engage students by outreach and timely support.
• Share industry insights and nursing trends in courses.
