Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance of air conditioners and heaters.
• Uses pressure washer as requested.
• Uses electrical tools and equipment (voltmeter, drills, saws, etc.).
• Checks oxygen level of concentrators as requested.
• Maintains oxygen concentrator as scheduled.
• Performs water temperature tests as scheduled.
• Tests fire alarm systems as scheduled.
• Tests fire safety equipment as scheduled.
• Builds minor structures for patient use (benches, flower boxes, etc.).
• Completes general maintenance, plumbing repairs, unclogging hair traps, repairing washers/dryers, replacing pipes.
• Maintains and replaces electrical outlets and bulbs; rewires equipment as needed.
• Installs and checks batteries of smoke alarms.
• Assists in fire drills and checks extinguishers with fire marshal inspections.
• Removes furniture from rooms no longer occupied or assists in moving patient belongings.
• Paints interior or exterior and wallpapering as needed.
• Assists in construction of additions to the center.
• Maintains grounds and landscaping (garbage removal, mowing, trimming).
• Performs routine laundry equipment maintenance as scheduled.
• Performs unscheduled maintenance tasks as requested.
• Performs generator testing and maintenance as scheduled.
• Assists with major cleaning projects as requested.
