Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Manager, Nursing Business Operations to lead the Nursing Business Office’s financial and administrative functions. You will translate the department's budget into action, monitor performance, and drive process improvements that support high-quality patient care.

We expect a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, at least 5 years in healthcare operations, and strong leadership and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or applicable field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with Tableau and Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization and lead across reporting lines.
• Experience with financial, clinical data, and business information systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing business office operations and administrative oversight.
• Develop and translate the Nursing Department budget into action.
• Track financial performance against targets and improve profitability.
• Provide analytics and insights to nursing leadership and senior leadership.
• Supervise and develop Nursing Business Operations staff.
• Collaborate with finance and nursing leadership across OSUWMC.
