NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a part-time Nursing Attendant - Labor and Delivery for evening shifts in New York, NY. The role includes bedside care, vital signs, and collaboration with nurses and technicians.

You will support patient comfort, meals, and safe transport in a fast-paced hospital setting. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, current CPR training, and Nurse Aide certification or enrolled BSN with clinical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association required.
• Must meet one of the following: Nurse's Aide experience in a hospital setting; Certification from an approved Nurse Aide training program; Current BSN program enrollment or completion of at least one clinical practicum.

Provide comfort and caring as an NYP nursing attendant - keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.

This is a part time evening shift position, 13:00 pm-11:15 pm, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend, located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.

Required Criteria

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association is required
• Must meet one of the following: Previous Nurse's Aide experience in a hospital setting
• Certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program
• Current enrollment in a BSN program - at the junior year level and/or completion of at least one clinical practicum

Salary Range: $25.89-$27.52/Hourly
