NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY is seeking a dedicated Nurses Aide for Medical/Surgical Neuro-SDU on the full-time night shift. You will monitor vital signs, assist with meals and safe patient transport, provide compassionate care under RN supervision, and help keep the unit clean and safe.

This on-site role requires CPR and a valid Nurse Aide certification or active clinical training.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide with hospital experience or approved Nurse Aide training certification.
• Current CPR training from the American Heart Association.
• High school diploma or GED required; CNA or related training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.
• Assist with meals and safe patient transport within the unit.
• Provide compassionate patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with routine care duties.

Nurses Aide - Medical/Surgical Neuro-SDU -Full time Nights

Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure. Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care.

This is a full time night shift position. Weekend and Holiday requirement.

Preferred Criteria

• At least one year of experience as a certified nurses aid.

Required Criteria

• Previous Nurse's aide experience in a hospital setting or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing, at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association required.
