Morningside House of Spotsylvania in Fredericksburg, VA is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time, part-time, or PRN positions. Join our memory care community and support residents with daily living activities and care needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires a CNA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assists with resident care needs and comforts.
• Assists with oral hygiene and mouth care.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, and undressing as necessary; records anomalies.
• Assists with nail care, shaving and hair care.
• Assists with lifting, turning, positioning and transporting residents.
• Makes occupied and unoccupied beds as assigned.
• Checks residents frequently to meet personal care needs.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Available Shifts

• 2pm - 10pm or 10pm - 6am

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA - Essential Functions

• Assists with resident care needs and comforts.
• Certified Nursing Assistant CNA assists or gives oral hygiene and mouth care.
• Assists with bathing functions and dressing/undressing as necessary. Records anomalies (i.e. bruises, cuts, rashes, swelling, etc.)
• Certified Nursing Assistant CNA assists with nail care, shaving and hair care.
• Assists with lifting, turning, positioning and transporting residents.
• Makes both occupied and unoccupied bed (as assigned).
• Checks residents frequently to assure that their personal care needs are being met
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA - Requirements

• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires a CNA licensure
