Job summary

Morningside House Senior Living in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our memory care team on a full-time, part-time, or PRN basis.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health and comfort, and work a flexible shift 2pm–10pm or 10pm–6am, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including 401K match, PTO, tuition reimbursement and insurance options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires a CNA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assists with resident care needs and comforts.
• Assists with oral hygiene and mouth care.
• Assists with bathing, dressing/undressing as necessary; records anomalies (bruises, cuts, rashes, swelling, etc.).
• Assists with nail care, shaving and hair care.
• Assists with lifting, turning, positioning and transporting residents.
• Makes occupied and unoccupied beds (as assigned).
• Checks residents frequently to assure personal care needs are met.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA - Essential Functions
