The Nursing Assistant Trainee program at Good Samaritan in Miller, SD provides a learning experience to develop confidence to provide personal care under a licensed nurse. Trainees work with a preceptor in a hybrid online and hands-on format and prepare to take CNA state exams.

Position is full-time, 12-hour day shifts, 40 hours/week. Requires high school diploma or GED, age 16+, and CNA license within four months of employment; driving duties may apply where required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred or required.
• CNA license must be obtained within four months of employment.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Applicant must be at least 16 years old.

• Document client care and report changes to a licensed nurse.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and daily routines.
