Cayuga Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 4 South Telemetry unit at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. You will work three 12-hour overnight shifts, providing direct patient care and assisting with daily activities while collaborating closely with registered nurses.

Role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with BLS to be provided if needed. Preferred CNA certification (NYS) and prior patient care experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification will be provided if needed.
• Preferred: NYS Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA).
• Prior patient care experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with toileting, ambulation, and repositioning as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe bedside areas and proper infection control.
• Support care by monitoring patients and reporting changes to RN.
