UNC Health Care Rex 7 East unit in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Nursing Assistant I for full-time night shifts. You will provide routine direct and indirect patient care under supervision, assist with examinations, monitor vitals, and support discharge planning. Requires NC CNA I, BLS, and at least 6 months of experience; salary $18.00-$24.66/hour.

Qualifications

• Fluent in verbal and written English language.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures.
• Aids patients in reality orientation and participates in behavior modification plans/therapy.
• Observes, collects, and documents patient information and reports changes.
• Assists patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
• Provide care/treatments per plan including vital signs, measurements, wound care, glucose checks, ROM, etc.
• Provide direct personal care for activities of daily living.
• Assist in cleaning, stocking, and clerical tasks.
• Reinforce patient education and distribute information.
