Qualifications

• Six months of nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Must hold Nursing Assistant I licensure in NC.
• BLS certification required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with routine examinations and procedures and procure equipment during emergencies.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN or physician supervision.
• Observe, document, and report significant patient changes promptly.
• Assist patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
• Perform vital signs, wound care, glucose checks, and activities of daily living.
• Maintain clean work areas, restock supplies, and support new staff orientation.
• Distribute educational materials and reinforce patient instructions.
