Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, AR seeks a Nursing Assistant to join the care team. You will support licensed staff, deliver patient care across preventive to hospice stages, and contribute to the patient care plan under supervision.

The role requires basic nursing assistance training or equivalent experience, plus solid English communication. Expect a rotating schedule, extensive training, and opportunities for advancement within VA healthcare.

Qualificações

• Six months of general experience or equivalent education/training.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English per VA standards.
• Completion of a suitable education or training program related to nursing assistance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide activities of daily living and basic care under supervision.
• Assist with care plans and monitor patient condition.
• Observe and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Document care provided and patient status in medical records.
• Assist with equipment and supplies and maintain a safe environment.
• Serve as a preceptor to new NAs per facility guidelines.
