Job summary

The Cayuga Health System is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time evening shifts at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility, 220 Steuben St, Montour Falls, NY. You will assist patients with ADLs, check vital signs, help with meals, and support the nursing team on the 2:30 PM–11:00 PM shift, with every-other-weekend work.

Requirements: NYS CNA certification. Preferred: HS Diploma or GED, patient care and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• NYS CNA certification required.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in patient care is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs (bathing, grooming, etc.).
• Take and record vital signs; monitor blood sugars as applicable.
• Assist with meals and nourishment distribution.
• Support nursing staff and ensure privacy and dignity for patients.
