Job summary

Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center in Fairlawn, OH is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. You will assist with daily living activities, rounds, meal delivery, and patient safety while collaborating with the care team.

This role offers a night shift schedule of 2x12s (7 PM–7:30 AM) and a total of 24 hours per week, with opportunities for career growth, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire preferred.
• 3–5 years of healthcare or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ambulation, toileting, positioning, transfers) and maintain patient safety.
• Document hourly rounds, intake/output, vital signs, and charges accurately.
• Assist with meal selection, tray delivery, feeding, hydration, and dietary changes.
• Transport patients and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Provide clerical support and help the care team as needed.

MONDAY-FRIDAY & ROTATING WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS

The Essentials

• Schedule: Part-Time 24 hours per week | Night Shift 2x 12s 7PM-7:30AM
• Location: Fairlawn, OH
• Specialty: Post-Surgical Orthopedics & Plastics, Inpatient

What You'll Do

• Support patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, including ambulation, toileting, positioning, transfers, and maintaining patient safety.
• Participate in hourly rounding and document patient information, intake/output, vital signs, and charges accurately and timely.
• Assist with meal selection, tray delivery, feeding assistance, hydration, and communication of dietary changes.
• Transport patients throughout the hospital and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Provide clerical and administrative support, including answering phones and assisting the care team as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of healthcare or related experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, work collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications: BLS certification required within three (3) months of hire.
